I never auto update, but somehow forgot to disable it on my iMac, so 11.1.6 which was working flawlessly updated to 11.2, and now all my clips, every one, is 'corrupt or not licensed' when I try to preview them.
The web site for this doesn't cover this scenario I think. Cache and disk space are fine. Nothing changed about permissions. I haven't changed anything at all.
Just the 11.2 accidental auto-update (resists stating opinion here...).
Anyway:
Ideas for a fix?
I can download everything for 11.1.6 again, I suppose. Maybe.
11.2 all clips 'corrupt or not licensed'
11.2 all clips 'corrupt or not licensed'
infinite density, zero volume
Re: 11.2 all clips 'corrupt or not licensed'
NM:
Rolled back to 11.1.6; same thing.
Wiped prefs and caches and application support files to simulate a 'clean' system.
New 'default' library works.
Switching back is horked.
Glad this is a new'ish system. I'll just redownload everything. Don't have time for stuff like that.
Really don't like auto-update being a default for something as variable as a computer/DAW system. Bad idea. My bad for missing it though, I suppose.

In this case this happens again (hopefully not!), get in touch with Support as it would be quite interesting to understand what happened.
