Shame the stage video sound is so crap... sounds like it was recorded with the camcorder mic!

Not a very good advert for a professional music product, methinks...

True, but I htink its more about the flexibility and how easy he makes it look.

Which he does very well

Kid Beyond uses keystrokes to change quantization settings depending on the situation. And yes, the sound for the shows was done with a camcorder mic, the quality of which we had no control over, as the footage was (nicely) provided by his manager. Trying to bring in pro recording setups to shows is not an easy task...

I first saw him opening for RZA and Planet Asia in Golden Gate park, and he blew the audience away...had to get him on film.

Lots to learn for beatboxers, guitarist, etc.,
Jesse

he is technically a killer but, i don't see the relation with the godfather of soul and ray charles on the live extracts in this demo, i would like to hear some full songs by him (anyone's got a link?), cause on the paper it sounds like what jamie lydell does, but to the ears it is a lot more conventional beatboxing thing...by the way have you guys ever seen Mister Lydell on stage? or shlomo, they are fucking killers...
