Hello,
Is it possible in a MIDI track to reassign the notes with a keyboard (MIDI keyboard or computer keyboard) i.e. while keeping the rhythm?
I know the drag and drop functionality, but I would like a faster workflow.
What I mentioned is possible in music notation softwares such a Sibelius.
Actually the workflow I would like to use to write a bass part is:
- writting a rhythm in a MIDI track, e.g. repeated rhythmic motive with a constant pitch/note
- reassigning the note heights to fit the harmony with the keyboard to save time
I know it's a pretty simple/beginner quetion, but I'm unable to find any information on the matter.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Rubén

On the computer keyboard, you can use alt+arrows to navigate and select midi notes, and then use the arrows to move them.

Thanks a lot for your answer. That's what I ended up doing, which is way better than doing it manually. I think I would have been even nicer though, to have the possibility to change them directly with a keyboard, by directly pressing the corresponding note.
