How do you do this in Live?
The audio output device in Preferences can only be set to either outputs 1&2 OR 3&4 of my NI Komplete Audio 6 MK1, not both.
Or is it impossible to do in Live and should I look for another DAW/piece of software?
Audacity also has but 1 playback device.
I've searched on YouTube but they only seem to address the hardware side of things.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Re: 5.1 music production
Live's Tracks (and their outputs) are stereo.
There are several Max For Live devices that can pan across more than one stereo pair.

For recording I guess it needs multiple Tracks, much like drum kit recording. (Then grouping those, and putting the surround panner in the Group?)
