Hello,
I don't understand why when I launch a scene via MIDI, in some cases the highlight is automatically moved to the next scene, therefore making the next scene ready to be launched via MIDI, and in some cases the current scene stays highlighted instead of the next. This is a huge problem when moving through all my scenes with a single controller's pad.
Example:
I have 4 stacked scenes 1, 2, 3, and 4, with a clip in each scene.
I use a controller's pad to start a scene. (I linked my pad to "Launch scene" button with MIDI).
1) I press my controller's pad, which starts clip 1 in scene 1.
Clip 1 has a follow action that triggers track 2 (which is a loop).
Scene 2 gets automatically highlighted.
2) I press my controller's pad, which starts clip 3 in scene 3.
Clip 3 has a follow action that triggers track 4 (which is a loop).
>> For some mysterious reason, scene 4 doesn't get automatically highlighted (Even if I follow the same structure as for clips 1 and 2)
3) It's a big problem because next I should be pressing my controller's pad to play clip 5 in scene 5, which would happen if scene 4 had been highlighted. Instead of what, pressing the controller replays clip 3 in scene 3.
I should also specify that I have a follow action on scene 2. I am not using that follow action on scene 4 (I tried and this doesn't change the outcome anyway, and actually adds yet another problem)
Any thoughts? Thanks!
What's going on with launching scenes and moving the highlight?
What's going on with launching scenes and moving the highlight?

There is a Preferences option (Select Next Scene on launch) in Record Warp Launch tab, or the menu when you right-click a Scene.

Thanks, I didn't know that.
However I just checked and that preference is already on for all my scenes and clips, so there must be another problem going on.

There is also a separate similar setting for Clips (right-click an existing Clip in Session, empty slots are not Clips). Clips and Scenes are different things.

Yes, that's what I was saying I checked as well. This is not the problem as they're all on.

Maybe, just maybe, try to turn them off.
