I have a rack mounted pc that I only use for music. It's not connected to the internet. I had this idea recently of putting the pc into hibernate state instead of shutting it down so I can quickly get into Ableton without loading the project each time from scratch. The problem is, it doesn't work. After pressing the power button to wake the pc up, I can see the project screen but hitting "play" or "record" or any of my controllers has no effect whatsoever. I can still change session/arrangement view or go into preferences but that's about it.
Cakewalk works without a hiccup in this scenario, Ableton does not.
Any ideas?

Re: Win10 - Hibernate not working
Hibernate IMO does not work reliable in music production. Seems to be a WIN, driver, motherboard etc. thing. E.g. my audio interface won't be recognized after Hibernating. So I just avoid it.
