I have been exporting for years now from Ableton with no issue.
With one of my latest projects, at the same :48 seconds in spot every time, a clap is being kind of half muted ONLY on the exported audio. I go back and run the project, no problem. When running the project it plays fine. What would cause this and how do I stop it?
UPDATE: I just ran a test recording that part of the midi track to an audio. Muted the midi for the audio at that part, it recorded fine and sounded fine in the project. SAME DROP OUT. Bizarre.

Re: Export Drop Out Why??
Never mind, it is a playback issue that is random so happened to work the times when I was comparing. It is not an export issue. Very frustrating but it may be somehow related to the group these percussion hits are in (all separate tracks). When I remove the missing hit tracks from the group they play consistently (for now).
I'll let you know if I figure out why in case someone else runs into this. No automation on the group. I had some other tiny moments where the sound seemed to back off for an instant, not necessarily part of that groups hits.
Maybe some sort of masking I don't understand.

Thanks for letting us know you're narrowing down the issue. Good luck!
