Recording Computer Audio into Live via Babyface Pro

Post by TenisuBaka » Tue Feb 07, 2023 8:52 pm

Hi, I'm trying to figure out how to record general computer audio into Ableton so I can practice ear training by transcribing stuff.

Anyway, I saw a couple of videos saying that this should be easy with my Babyface Pro by turning on the Loopback button for the output channel.

This isn't working, so there has to be some other step I'm missing. After turning on the Loopback button for the output channel, there is no signal level in the corresponding input channel (trying to use ADAT 3/4).

Similarly, there is no signal level in the audio channel in Live after arming the channel.

Please help. I'm a complete newb.

I figured it out.

ADAT3/4 is actually channels 7 and 8.
