RUNNING WINDOWS VISTA RC1

28-32%
4.72ms latency (with ASIOFORALL!)
On a Toshiba M3 1.73ghz centrino M
1.5 gig ram
emu 1616m cardbus

I've done everything vegieryan has suggested to do including installing the old video card driver. The thing is I can only get 10ms latency with EMU's asio drivers but I can turn it down to 4.3ms latency with the ASIOFORALL driver!

No Glitch or Pop! I simply never thought this was possible on this piece of a business-crap laptop. My next step will be to buy one of those macbook pro core2duo laptops when they come out and run osx and vista dual boot with live 6! Yah!

Live 5.2
DeadlyKungFu wrote:Running at 1,024 sample latency (21.3 mS)

1 - 55-65% dips to 30% (52-61% dips to 27% w/o delay compensation)
2 - Laptop - HP DV8000 17" widescreen
3 - Win XP Home
4 - Dual Centrino M @ 2GHz T2500
5 - 1Gb @ 997MHz
6 - Stock MME, no soundcard chosen yet - have USB 2.0, firewire, 2xPCMCIA, etc.
7 - 2 x 5400rpm 80Gb, Apps on C:, samples and Live Sets on D: drive.
8 - 512Mb Video RAM
Live 6b13
18% after it settles a bit, 38% starting out
640 sample buffer, one notch lower (~450 samples, as set in the Edirol UI) clicks slightly.
All specs are the same, but I'm now using an Ediorol UA-101 sound card AND I left the SL, BCR and a hardware synth connected and fully functional.
