How can I sync Live to the Kaoss pad?

I've seen the other tips for using the kaoss pad with live, but I'm short 1 kaoss pad2 manual and I need to know how I can sync the bpm from Live to the kaoss pad via midi. (with special attention paid to what I need to do with the kaoss pad) Anyone have experience with this? Thanks!!

wait 5 seconds, then the kp should recognize the midi signal
