hi all,
I am a recent pc user, being that I worked on macs for the last 2 years, but i broke down and bought a pc laptop thanks to soundforge.

but my latency is way up there.

all i am using is a AMD sempron 2.6 GHz, and a m-audio o2.

what can i do to get my latency down? is there a specific midi driver i should find somewhere?

I am working on getting a mobile soundcard to go with this beast, but until then I would appreciate any advice you all can give. :evil:

try ASIO4ALL generic asio driver

www.asio4all.com

when i was on XP, and using a built-in soundcard i could usually cut my usable lowest latency in half with that driver

that reduced my latency by at least 50%!!
