Anyone using Ableton Live with a Rane MP4 - this looks sick.
Is it even compatible?

If you look at the manual (version 1.4) it doesn't look good for XP.

The problem is there on the "XP setup" page, it's on page 5, on the right. It looks like it identifies itself as multiple audio devices, rather than as a single device.
If this is the case (and I am totally speculating here, if anybody can clarify that would be cool) this would cause problems with Live, which only recognizes a single audio device.

I have changed my username; Now posting as:

When they make statements like:
"While the MP 4 may be used as a generic sound card with
other software applications, for best performance and support we
highly recommend using Scratch LIVE. Performance using other
applications may vary and compatibility is not guaranteed."
It doesn't inspire confidence for working well with Ableton LIVE....(Scratch Live maybe)
