Thanks

No, I've actually emailed Thomson Course Technoligies, the publisher of such titles asking if there was a release date. I received no response.

I hope so, their publications are excellent and really give you real world knowledge of the application. Hell, it's how I got started with Reason.

I signed up for their newsletter so, I will make a post if I hear anything.

Yeah... Live 4 Power was good. It goes more in-depth than the manual, and explains using real scenarios.

It helped me a lot.

Live 4 Power was excellent - perhaps the clearest and most helpful Music Technology related book I ever read.

That said, I bought Live 2 boxed, didn't use it much, but decided to get more into Live and upgraded online when version 4 arrived. So other than the PDF I had no manual to read - hence buying the Live 4 Power book.

For Live 5 I did the boxed upgrade, and the paper manual is excellent. So I think it is a good plan to perhaps alternate between getting a boxed upgrade and getting a download upgrade + the Power book.
iMac Retina 4K 3.3Ghz i7, 16Gb RAM
Live Suite 9.7.1 + Reason 9.1 + Pianoteq 5 + Sibelius 8.5

That’s a great idea all I need now is for version 6 of Live to come out and I can get the Live 6 Power book as well.

I new I should have gone for the download option!
