Can I use Au plugins w/ live?

I know that Live supports VSt, but after searching through some threads, it look as if you can actually use AU plugins. Is there some sort of software I need to convert my AU plugins into vst?

go to preferences and make sure 'use audio units' is turned on.

ahhh what AU plugins are you talking about?

if they are ones with Garageband or Logic, they will not work.... but the generic Apple ones definately work.

Have you checked "YES" for them in your Plugin preferences folder?

If you press the plugin browser you should find your AU's next to the VSTs.

i've never been able to find the AU plugins in my powerbook. does one get them off the web?
