i learned about this just a week ago ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Sh ... cal_career ) when i was looking for info on florence foster jenkins ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florence_Foster_Jenkins ), who produced truly remarkable recordings like this: http://www.opuscds.com/mp3/124423.mp3

as earbending as shatner, but in a different dimension ;-)
