BCF Templates

Post by zarfmusic » Mon Jan 14, 2008 5:25 am

Wouldn't it be easier to just update the software to 1.10? The templates are included.

AFAIK, only the BCF has the MCU template. My BCR is already on the 1.10 firmware. IF you look at Behringer's website, it basically says that they BCF can work in MCU emulation, but not for the BCR.

Um, yeah?!? I was the one who resurrected this thread because I was looking for the old files for a friend. I have been using namihei's preset (hence the MCU emulation for the BCR) for about two years now.

I just started using it in Logic and am trying to help someone out with theirs.

Best,

I've gotten the Mackie Control preset loaded onto my BCR and had Live 7 recognize it but am unable to get Huskervu to work. My inputs/outputs in Live are: Midi Yoke 1 / in and MackieControl output. What should I change these and the in/outs on Huskervu to in order to get the program working? Also most of the buttons on my BCR are working as they should (pan, play, stop, loop, record, track faders, master faders, and so on) but others do not seem to work (the group push encoders, for example.) Is anyone else having this problem? Am I just not pressing them correctly? I'm unable to do certain important things with this i.e. change tempo and would like to get this all running soon. Thank you!

If anyone could help with this I'd really appreciate it - I have a gig coming up in a few weeks and would like to be able to control Live via my BCR instead of having to click around...

Just wondering if this will work with Ableton Live 7? If so, how, sorry I'm a noob to Ableton software with BCR2000.
Cheers

I run mine like this
ableton live(mackie control) - midi in = bcr2000 and midi out =midiyoke1
Huservu - midi input=midiyoke1 midi output bcr2000.

Love it!

thanks to namihei for his groundbreaking and very inspiring work. thanks to husker for the huskervu application. thanks to flipotto for his video and manual.

the first downloads of flipotto's files were corrupted so i wrote another manual, describing the original MCE3Live.syx preset by namihei. also, on my system i transfered the sysex data with behringer's editor application (i got err22 when trying a sysex librarian). if interested, i could send it attached to an email, or maybe namihei or flipotto would like to host this on their webpage?

good work. thank you so much.

Problems installing the mackie emulator

Post by jeremy.liew » Fri Apr 18, 2008 12:56 am

HI, I've just got a bcr2000 and am facing some problems installing the mackie emulations. Reading thru the instructions by namihei, it says to firstly push the MackieLive sysex file, and then push the bcr_store.syx file. The thing is when I load bcr_store.syx into bcedit, it says presets loaded = 0! And do I push it on the same location as the MackieLive.syx file (lets say its on position 15), because this will replace the file with an empty slot... Am very new to this, hope to get some help from all of you! Tx!

btw have tried it in live6 with only the mackielive.syx loaded, and it doesn't seem to detect anything.... appreciate the help very very much!
