OHH My god!!
The only gripe i already have is the USB interface?? Why not firewire?? When the USB is pushed multi channel with super low latencies they are known to have serious issues.
Other than that, this thing looks PHENOMENOL!!

Yeah nice enough and everything but I can't help think that people don't want this kind of thing for use with Live. Most people I know want a portable controller.
It might be that in a couple of years when all djs/performers in clubs use Live this kinda thing will be the house mixer but until then it's a little pointless.

I'm really convinced that this product is aimed at the installation mixer market. And when you don't have to lug it around or install it yourself it quickly becomes very attractive.
I also can't help but think that the use of usb over firewire might be a very thought out move. Who knows, this puppy might work a lot better than we expect. I'm looking forward to the first video demos...

Looks nice!
Perhaps it´s usb2, not mentioned.
Even with a bit of latency, for DJ use it´s not dramatical though.
Surely it´ll not be cheap.
Greetings

The USB soundcard has eight channels, arranged in stereo pairs, which can operate in two modes - 6 channels from a PC and 2 returns, or 4 channels from a PC and 4 returns. Using individual professional audio standard 24bit stereo converters with an audio sampling rate of 48kHz, the card’s design guarantees the best possible sound quality from laptops and PCs. The soundcard can be fed from the main mix, FX1, or direct from the channels, and features a SPDIF optical and coaxial interface. Also, the USB connection sends and receives both audio and MIDI data to and from the PC, and can be used to update firmware and set mixer configuration data.
I'd be surprised if it's not usb2.0, it'd have a hard job doing all that via USB1.1

Maybe it's quite telling that they can't even spell Ableton correctly?
