I've re-labled the Knobtron's front panel for a new Live 4 performance template I've been working on over the past couple of weeks and thought people might want some ideas or just see some more midbox porn
The front panel.

Updated Midibox Pics
Heres the current Live 4 template info which can be used both for mixing full tracks or for live stuff or just mashing everything up together
----------------
8 audio tracks, 1 midi track, 3 sends
Heres the lowdown:
Track 1-4 are fully controlled tracks featuring an EQ4 (set up for filtering), a chorus effect and utility for gain control and ofcourse level. Also included is clip start, stop and track arm/mute. These ones are used for loops that get tweaked all the time (percussion, melodies, drones) or for full tracks.
Tracks 5-7 are simple audio tracks with only volume control and mutes. Used for loops which don't need tweaking.
Track 8 is the "crossfade" track where I put snippets and stuff I want to interchange with. I've set it up with a punch in button that arms the channel when pressed then disarms when released.
Sends 1 and 2 both have simple delays
Send 3 has Supatrigga
The midi track is only there for convenience incase i want to automate something like pattern changes on the drum machine...
------------
Now the fiddly stuff - Midibox 64 assignments (64 knobs, 20 buttons)
track 1 to 4 have these physical controls grouped as 12 knobs and 3 buttons:
Track - level, track arm, launch and stop buttons
Eq 4 - lo cut, hi cut, lo Q, hi Q,
Chorus - amount, rate, on/off
Utility - gain
Sends (pre fade) - delay 1, delay 2, supatrigga
Track 5-7 only have level controls and arm buttons
Crossfade track - Crossfade, Punch in (momentary switch)
Send tracks:
Simple delay 1 - dry/wet and feedback
Simple delay 2 - dry/wet and feedback
Supatrigga - granularity, slow probability, reverse
Master controls - Master level, Tempo and Scene navigation (launch, stop, previous, next and scene scroll)
and there are 2 unassigned knobs left over for anything that comes up or on the fly assignments.
The midibox also has 10 banks of memory so if the template gets bigger, the midibox can accomodate double the track amount of my current template but I've decided less is more.
