I just picked one of these up for work. We're in the process of digitizing a bunch of old reel-to-reel tapes and needed a quality solution. so far so good! tho it's hard to tell, since the reel to reel is shitty to begin with.

The size:power ratio is great, the price is pretty decent to I suppose.

yeah, that looks nice. I'm kinda disappointed in my Ozonic's MIDI delay times...

Maybe use this with the new ReMOTE SL25? That'd be kinda sweet.

I know, same w/ me !!!!
I did demos of Garageband w/ it at Apple Expo last week. Great!!!
More than my budget was, and close to FW410.... :?

I had a firewire 410 before and find the firebox much more stable (on mac) and performs better latency wise also.

It's pretty good for me so far, though the headphone out has a lot of hiss and if it's used alongside the audio out on my iBook, I get the FireWireWhine that others have noted.
