yeah its not quite as exciting as no rewire so no way to get the audio recorded into live.

... this is a VSTi host. There is the chance that Rewire will be added (it's part of OS 9 MAX)

Send and email and ask nicely, and rewire may be added...

With this and numerology we could have an awsome midi compement to LIVE.

Check out 'Ugly VSTi Host' - currently being ported to OSX, with ReWire outputs. It's a freeware, 1 x VSTi version with stereo outs, but the creator is working on a commercial mult VSTi host with effects chaining & multiple outs.

Which is useful, since NI helpfully don't put Rewire outputs in their standalone softsynths, and Live doesn't support Direct Connect. Flaps.

This is total shite. Ugly, unintuitive, and doesn't work worth a damn as distributed. I hate to make generalizations about Max/MSP, so I'll stick to saying this needs serious work. Look elsewhere for now.

I had no problem getting it to work with my VSTi Mellotron in OS X. Although I'm not able to manipulate parameters remotely.
