I know there is already a few threads on this sound card but they seem old and I want some new opinions. I already have a motu828 I have it in a rack case and it is big and bulky and I would really like a more portable system. I would like to leave the motu 828 home for recording use and what not, and echo indigo for portable use since I don't need pre-listen it would be fine for me, is that a good idea? How is sound quaility and stability for echo indigo. How would I change echo indigo out put from 1/8" to 1/4' or rca conections, is a simple 1/8" to 1/4"or rca adapter cable fine. How does it work with Live2.02, any known problems on the echo indigo. I would be using it with a Sony vaio laptop p4 1.6ghz windows xp.

Thanks for any info.

it would be very great....

....but it has two dependent outputs. no prelistening. i wrote email to echo asking if they would invent something like this...with this feature they would make a lot of money with indigo.. i think...
