Public Domain Sci-Fi
Public Domain Sci-Fi
I love sci-fi samples. I love the way old audio media sounds.
I use public domain samples.
www.archive.org has tons.
Also, search for Old Time Radio for lots of free voice samples.
If you like dudes from the 50's talking about space ships, lunar landings and general sci-fi adventure "No! Put down that death ray!" look up X Minus One, the radio equivelent of the twilight zone.
Anyone else have a source of free and legal samples?

As far as I'm aware. It is known as The Internet Archive.
"Open and free access to literature and other writings has long been considered essential to education and to the maintenance of an open society."
The people organizing it are trying to run it like a library of sorts. I'm not sure that makes it public domain. There's just lots of stuff there that is free for use.
