Modded MicroKorg - BACK IN BLACK

Well I just got done with the most nerveracking experience in my life. I painted a MicroKorg black. THIS MEANS I

1- Took the whole thing apart
2- Seperated the synth from the body
3- Spray paint 3 layers of black paint
4- Reattach all circuits
5- Close MicroKorg up
6- Open to fix battery connections
7- Close

I literally was sitting there trebling that I might break somthing I use everyday. Well anyway its black now and looks fucklot better than that gross factory color.

Did you do something to the keys ? I want to mod my microKontorl- which is same thing more or less- once read someones description how to but could never google it again. I want to put something. like thin foam or cloth under the keys, hate that clack, clack. Do I have to put it all apart ? Better hear expert before messing it up.

Yes, you will have to pull it all apart. You need to wrap a wet towel around your feet so your grounded and you need to make sure you remember where everything goes and how.
