How to create an Autoload??

hi people,

sorry if it's been asked before, but...

Anyone know how to create an autoload in Ableton? I'm tyring to make the switch from Logic to Ableton as a sequencer as well as for live, so i'd like to create a "blank slate" patch to have all my channell FX & plug ins ready to go on.

Also, how many of u use Ableteon as a sequencer & how have you found it? Does the navigation get easier? I find that I can easily get around Logic with shortcuts etc. but am finding Ableton more time-consuming.

create the .als you want, with all your plug-ins where you want them
now go to preferences, defaults, and click save template.

its that simple.

and take some time to learn all the shortcuts in Ableton.
