Jungle Kits for Battery or Kontakt

Post by Ambioun - Techno Man » Thu Nov 17, 2005 12:37 am

I have bought all the native instrument soundkits for Kontakt but I am still not finding some good Jungle/Drum'N'Bass Drum Kits. The sound is usually compressed and sounds acoustic, but sampled. Tried slicing up breaks, but the result is not very intuitive. I want to program some more of my own beats.

The point is that I WANT A DRUM SAMPLE KIT to program them. Not a loop library,

You could also sample some stuff from some of your favorite jungle tunes. That would be enitirelly within the genre...

is recording Motown breaks off of a turntable and cutting them up out of the question?

I mean, somebody has to do it... :)

slicing beats into hits is great fun on a rainy day, anyhoo...

I would love to buy a cheap drum kit and some mikes. Maybe in a couple years.
