Are There Any Wav Editors Out There That Can Slice Loops ???

like recycle, but in wav format. I have recycle but I don't want to use it with live because I need an editor to do more than what recycle can do, but I do need the slice feature from recycle.

I don't think it is available apart from Sonar 2, but Cyclone is nice for re-arranging loops that have been sliced up (Sonar has a built in slicer that works much like ReCycle).

thanks guess, but I'm talking about an editor that I can open up in Live via
the edit button in the clip box.

sound forge?

find regions (marks area based on peaks)
then you can replace or cut each region manually..

kinda tedious but might work

Why isn't Everybody Talking about this Beat Creator program., this thing looks incredible. and it's cheap to, before I order it somebody tell me what the catch is. this thing looks like it would kill recycle, and it saves in rex format as well as others, is there something I'm missing? somebody say something

btw thanks for the tip Mr. guest

you can't use vsti's in live per say, but you can use them in muzys and have them rewired into live no sweat.

No catches with Beat Creator. It is all good.

I use it for heaps of things including making soundfonts to use in fruityloops. I haven't used recycle once since I found BC. Great product with good support and at the right price.
