I've been playing around with Derivative's Touch Mixer and am trying to figure out how to get it to receive a MIDI clock signal from Live 5. Ritchie Hawtin has been doing this for a while now and it would seem like this is common knowledge but i haven't found many posts about it.
Anyone out there using Touch mixer and live who can give me some tips on how to set this up?

using: Live 5.0.2 with touch mixer 017 on Win XP Pro.
Thanks for any advice.

Hi mate,
I don't know the first thing about Touchmixer, but it seems as if it is a software application.
I'm assuming it has MIDI in support for recieving midi clock, so you will most likely need a software midi loop back tool which will help you route the MIDI output of Live into Touchmixer.
Have a lookat Midi Yoke Junction which can be found here ...

When you install it, you will get a bunch of virtual MIDI ports which can be seen in the Midi/sync tab of Live's preferences.
If you activate the "SYNC" button for say MidiYoke port 1 output, in another piece of software you will be able to recieve tat sync info on MidYoke port 1 input.
