It would be really nice of Ableton to themselves implement, or hire someone capable to implement a tool akin to http://www.meetup.com/ which would allow people to create, manage and maintain user groups in different areas. This would be the biggest first step that Ableton could take to help the community evolve.

- The tool should be geographic based
- People should be able to select from a list of countries, and then choose a city from the available towns in that country
- If a user group does not exist in a designated location, then the user may be allowed to create one
- If a user group does exist in a designated location, then the user may be allowed to sign up to it
- This tool should allow for users to post about their interest in a user group for a certain area without the need to actually create one
- This tool should list the next available user group meet
- This tool should allow users to do a non explicit vote to show whether or not a specific date would be suitable for the majority of users
- This tool should allow the browsing of photos and text so as to see what was covered in a previous meet
- This tool should list a short point form agenda for future meets
- This tools data should not be mission critical so as to allow for changes to the entire system without concern for backwards compatibility
