On Friday, December 8th, the Fourth City Crew, and original Laptop Battle production team, put on the 2nd annual National Laptop Battle Competition.
Starkey from Philly took it with his Grimin' IDM dnb sounds. M.O. was defeated by Rrine, playing an electro and industrial tinged selections of finely composed arrangements. Honorable mentions go to Danger Dave (watch out) and his solid production technique and signature geek funk. Rrine brought a darker melodic sound and took second. Let's Go Outside from PDX was on point, and Knucklez from SLC brought the hip hop techniques. Humdinger displayed a unique, confident style, and Square Root of Evil got the crowd moving.
