I'm sure this has been covered but I couldn't find it. 2 midi keyboards going to 2 different usb ports, I want to control 2 different instruments simultaneusly. (eg my 2 octave for a bass synth, my 4 octave for other stuff).
If someone would be so kind as to direct me to an answer, or just explain it to a newbie. Thanks

It's in the manual, but... I'll be kind and not tell you to RTFM. You have to make sure each controller is enabled in Preferences -> Midi/Sync -> Active Devices, then on each midi channel, pull down "Midi From" and instead of leaving it to All Ins, you'll have to choose the correct midi input for the specific channel/instrument...

ok I figured all that out, but I cannot arm them simultaneously, and I can only get 1 channel to arm at a time. Am I missing something?

You could also hold down the cntrl key as you arm the second one. (or maybe the apple key in mac)
