i don't know what you need your controller for, but if you are searchng for good action i can suggest you my own Master Keyboard, the venerable Roland A80, yeah, real vintage 80s stuff here (the software says (C)1988 :)) i haven't used any other master with the same action, the other one i see used alot is the MC2000 by Oberheim, but i think it's not cheap.
oh by the way, i payed my A80 about 600 euros 4 year ago so you can find it pretty cheap today i think.

compared to other similar spec#d keyboards , the cme 5 is seriously heavy...i think theyve put a weight in it or something.

i read a really scathing review of a cme, i believe on harmony central. i'm dying to try playing a stage88 or a studiologic vmk-188 to see what they feel like (i like the electro 2 sounds a lot, but i don't really care for the feel of the organ-oriented keyboard - i would play mostly the rhodes on it)

i don't know if you've bought a new controller, but have you thought of having the uf8 painted?

you probably couldn't paint the area around the controllers without breaking the bank though.

but...the UF8 isn't so bad looking...
