I think that with a less retarded dude, this thing could be passed off. the thing with hairmetal guitarists wasnt the the hair, the style or the guitar...it was the combination of all that, with confidence. you'd be amazed at the ridiculous thing you can wear, with enough confidence [and skill] and pass that shit off as cool. for instance those talker/vocoder things from the '80s looked like some kinda quadrapelegic breathalyzer, but roger troutman made that shit hot. same with parliment funkadelic; they wore all kinds of crazy shit, but it was thier skill and confidnce that made that shit hot.
