Arrangement and Session

I tried searching for this ,but if anyone knows please let me know.

If i have stuff in the arrangement view and i launch clips the clips launch over the arrangement sounds. Is there a way to disable all sounds coming in from the arrangement view?

hmmm, maybe, create a dummy scene with blank clips all across every track? at least the ones with stuff on them in arr

or make a 'dummy clip' which mutes all the channels you dont want to hear.. ala mute groups on hardware sequencers.
