holy hell.
I live in Seattle and I gotta say this city is going absolutely apeshit cuckoo caca right now getting ready for tomorrow. Its as if we have won all ready.

Did anyone happen to catch the hysterical skit about the superbowl on Conan last night?

I just thought I'd take this opportunity to use the forum to bet anyone who is going for the Steelers.

I'll bet you a refill(of my choice) that we shall dominate and make you into pansies by the end of the game. You'll cry and we shall catch your tears, take them back to Seattle, and make a good bitter out of them. MUAHAHA!

Note: this applies to one person only. I can't bet everyone because then I would not have any refills left.

There were several bad calls in favor of Pittsburg. Also, if you notice, the rhetoric of the commentators was all pro Pittsburg. After the bad calls, the momentum really went to hell for the Seahawks.

Now given that they totally choked on the field goals, but really it should have been a much closer game.

And of course, the Steelers had that marvelous double-switcheroo-play in the second half that really won the game for them.

Mind you, I never watch sports, but this game was fun, albeit a bit frustrating. Should have been a closer game if the refs had a clue.

Couple of bad calls??????? Those were obviously ridiculous paid off calls. After Roethlisberger's "touchdown", I realized the game was meant for the Steelers to win. What a joke.

There were at least as many great plays by the Steelers as there were bad calls, IMO. I'm not a big sports fan, but after 4.5 years of living in Pittsburgh I am very happy for their very dedicated fans. Pittsburgh lives and breathes the Steelers, especially with it once being a steel town. There was no way they were going to lose in Detroit, perhaps the only other major former-industrial city in worse financial shape, especially with Bettis coming from there. No way at all.

Thank you, universe, for your perfectly aligned order. Maybe now we can all dedicate our focus to more important things. I know I will.
