Advent pc 3.006 with ht Technology

How are the Advent range of pc,s ? The model i,m looking at is the 3.06 GHz with HT technology for £999
Will i have problems with this machine ?
You need Xp pro to run Live is that correct ?

don't know that line of computer, but I can tell you you don't need xp pro
to run live. I run live on xp pro on my laptop, and on my desktop win 2000, I'm sure live runs on win 98 and win me also.

but please stay away from bad configured pc´s.

check for a solid running FAST chipset !!!

If you make the jump to PC do some research. If it means paying more for your PC who cares it will never come close to the price of a MAC. I have an I Buddie 4 ECS 2.0 GHZ dirt cheap computer. It works well now but not without my fair share of debuggings. Mac users tend to just want to plug shit in and away you go. PCs have to be configured a bit and for that reason you've got to be ready to pull up your sleeves. All I can tell you is this. Once you get the PC going it kicks ass.
