I think it would be cool if there was a site where it is real simple to have a song mastered for mp3 downloads or even for cd etc. A simple file upload (wav.aiff, or high mp3) ,choose style and requests, then pay. A email is sent telling you your track is ready to be picked up and downloaded.

I dunno. When I send material off to be mastered, I usually want them to say "We didn't change anytihng. It sounds fine."
Mastering is as important as Marketing. No more, no less. 'Fix it in the mix.' changed to 'Fix it in the mastering.' and then to 'Fix it in the marketing.' as all three are equally rediculous ideas to work by.
If the song is good and the mix is good, the mastering will be no big deal.
Anyone who asks me about good mastering usually gets referred to a good mixing engineer first as that's what a good mastering engineer usually requests.
For anyone who doesn't have a goto mastering guy, I would recommend making some friends around town. Near any major urban center, you should have no trouble finding someone who is affordable, respectable and you can get along with and do future projects with.
