Now I do like these, but am I the only person that thinks working with live on a screen that small is rediculous?
The size of that keyboard you may as well ahve a laptop with a big screen, and if you had a smaller keyboard then it would be hard ot use.
Great idea I like my gadgets and toys, but just to small to be practicle?

Not really, it's all about the sounds. You never need to see exactly what you are doing. Think about all the old hardware stuff. They had screens of 16x32 pixels. Not colour, not backlit, not usefull.Nav wrote:Now I do like these, but am I the only person that thinks working with live on a screen that small is rediculous?

As long as you can see major controlls everything will be ok. Also, the screen may be smaller on these things, but you hold them closer to your eyes.
Good point
I wouldnt want to drag and find loops and clips etc on it still, although I guess if you made your set up on another machine and then played about with this after it would be ok. From my point of view anyway.
I guess youd navigate with the arrow buttons,/mini joysick. which might be pretty cool as finding my way round my pocket pc or ipod isnt that pad.

There's been mention of cell phones having small projectors so that no LCD screen is necessary. Everything is projected out so you can view photos etc. etc.
These same projectors will be added to laptops along with the monitor incase you prefer a monitor. To me, that makes more sense. Screens are a big waste of space when you can just project an image out.
I hope it has a feature where you can adjust the transparacy so that, if you prefer, you cannot see whatever is behind the projected image. That would be very cool. That and something to adjust the size of the image.

That's what the transparacy feature would be utilized fori don't think you could project outdoor with sun light..
Even with current pocket computers and portable gaming systems, sunlight is an issue. But, i have said it B4 and I will say it again...the technology is there, it's just a matter of implementing it.
