Didn't think about pushing it out, but I wanted to keep the black frame around the display anyway so it works fine for me this way. Maybe I should be a bit mad and add pink details, go new age!

The glass is black itself on the sides ..

You could print out a nice graphic or letters with some free font and cut them out .. lay it over and spray on top of the base color .. coat afterwards .. there are blank templates online with the right size already

aha! didn't know! thanks for the tip, if I have the willpower enough to repaint my machine properly I will fix that aswell. Just need to find some nice stickers now or something, the ableton logo is already on my macbook so I need to find something else.. Suggestions?

great post, thankyou, I still use the hell out of my UC33 and it could do with a spruce up. The whole process looks very therapeutic as well. :wink: yes stencils...

Anyone tried to swtich the diods? I bet they look much better in red or blue!

Im about to paint my uc id like to know wich part of the process should i take more care, wich has more risk, im not a really handy man i might have someone help me out. Still i dont want to screw things.
