I'm a happy Live 2 user. So happy, in fact, that I'd rather code my own plugins to get the sounds I want in Live than work in a more open-ended sound environment like Reaktor or Max/MSP. But being limited to VST support in Live ignores my options as a prospective plugin developer. Apple's Audio Units plugin standard is far more flexible to code in than VST, and is being inceasingly adopted by many plugin manufacturers.

So, as both a user of Live and Audio Units plugins and a prospective developer of the latter, when can I expect to see AUfx support in Live? From a development standpoint, Apple has made integrating AU fairly simple. Does the Live team intend to take advantage of this, or am I stuck with VST as both a user and a programmer? :?:
