Post subject: Maya EX and Pre-Listen in Live ?????
PostPosted: Sat Jun 14, 2003 10:35 am
Hi,

can i use the Audiotrack Maya EX for Monitoring in Live ?
I know it works in Native Tracktor and BPM-Studio up to six mono channels or 3 Stereo Channels and seperate them in Monitor out and Master Out.
In Live i can only choose USB audio and cannot choose different outputs in the preferences. :(

thanks...

You might want to give the ASIO drivers from http://www.usb-audio.com/ a shot, they're supposed to work with the Maya EX.

What version of the Maya EX are you using and what computer? I am considering buying the 6 channel version, so I'd be happy if you'd share some testing results.

i have download the usb-audio driver and it works very well.
Now i have 3 linked outputs in Live i used Channel 1/2 for monitoring and 3/4 for master :D :D :D

i have the Maya EX 5.1 for live it works very good, very fast (with usb-audio of course).

Anyone tried how this device performs with MacOS 9 or X? I am seriously thinking about getting one, this thing is a lot cheaper than the EMI 2|6, and I can live with 16bit/48kHz.
