[Way OT] Need Cello buying advice

2000 is probably minimum for any acoustic instruments, I am not talking triangles or panflute here, it is so much of hand work and time, no luthier becomes rich. Some earn OK but when you know the hours put into it is mostly passion and love for what they do . So the hours are mostly same, prices very often too but the talent factor makes a difference.
Maybe unfair toward Germans but if you want best value for money go where the costs are less like Poland or Czech republic, they dont have so high living and other costs.
