Shit! I was just thinking about this today.
It's really 2 different years.
1984 - not a single bad album came out then in the music I like. Amazing.
1996 - I was thinking about sitting in one of my old houses (i.e., not like I got many but an odl apartment. Why not tsay that then? because it's been a long day) in 1996 and having Orbital's "The Box", Spaceheads S/T, Autechre's Tri Repetae, Panasonic's Kulma and Sterolab's Emperor Tomato ketchup all surrounding me and being amazed by all this awesome music.

It has to be two years for me: -
1988 - When i first got introduced to the scene, my first experience in a field, being turned back on the m25, my parents thinking i was being respectable.
2000 - the year i go divorced and was able to get back to what i enjoyed, being me, living for the music again.
Corny? probably, Fun? you better believe it
