BCR Mackie mode sysex files. Where dey at?

Post by DeadlyKungFu » Tue Jun 06, 2006 6:08 am

At one time I had two seperate sysex files, a main one and then an addendum or someshit that had more controls. I lost them when I rebuilt my desktop. The only one I can find doesn't do much. I've had my BCR for over a year and I've only recently been able to upload presets, thanks to Machinete and MIDI OX.

The BCR threads are long and the search function on this site is f-ing stoned.

Ugh, I can only upload with MIDI OX and I can't save the template. The BCR's save button only lights as I hold it down. I've tried shutting down MIDI OX, and I've tried holding the save button down for a while.

Checking it out, looks cool, I should post the setup I've made. After a year of playing with it I've found a combination that's quite fun.

that's because the template replaces the function of Save button, so you can't save anymore...

there is another sysex you can send to make the save happen...don't know where though sorry

That helps, thanks!

Can't capture a SEND button press. Another night I'll get this going, I'm sure MIDI OX can send the command, just have to find it.

THAT'S THE PAGE!!!

the link that says " 3. If you want to save it,see here" is broken.
The main page says that he's 'parted with the BCR so he's not answering questions.'

 I think the dude in the DiVinci code had an easier time on his quest.

I think I can hook you up when I get back from work. Drop me a PM, so I'll remember.. we can host the files on thecovertoperators.com - the place to go for all things hacky ;)

You're welcome.
Don't forget, the store presets are in the 'bcr2ksysex.zip' folder.

Is that the site's slogan? ;)

I found that LC Xmu worked very well and I'll probably buy it when I need the functionality it brings (Mackie Control emulation), although I don't think there is a version those amongst us of the hacker type ;)

There's a file called .DS_Store but MIDI OX won't send it as sysex.

OK.dead link has fixed.
the link goes to my backup files.
you will see "BCR Store.zip"
Download it and transmit a "(preset number).syx" file.

There are files named 'bcr_store_xx.syx' in a 'store_presets' folder in the zipped folder. If there aren't, please let me know and I'll re-upload the .zip.
