I just got Logic Pro 7.2 yesterday and have been trying to load the Apple plugins into Live but haven't been able to get it to work.
Has anyone tried this...is it possible...hope so!
Cheers

if you mean the plugs native to logic i dont htink you can have them in Live, they are native to Logic & embedded in the program as far as i know.

yes you will have to rewire to logic, or use logic as a sync slave via IAC, and send midi to Logic..

Bugger! I thought they might have opened the plugins up...I wonder if there's a back door anywhere to install AU's instead of compiling it all in one program...
Makes me wonder why Apple don't sell their plugins seperately though. They are incredible.

I doubt they ever will since logic is the only real software keeping them in the pro game.

The Logic plug-ins are NOT AU plug-ins, they're part of the Logic engine.

Sh*t! I was thinking about getting Logic for it's many plug-ins.
But then on the other hand it's better to know in advance that the plan won't work.
