OT-Michael Jackson In UK Charts!?!

Post by dhilsabeck » Tue Jun 20, 2006 2:22 am

hey whoever cares,
in my browsings i found that MJ has a single on the uk charts. "they don't really care about us". from HIStory disc 2. #26 as of june 18, 2006.

it's a good enough song and everything, but what is puzzeling to me is that this song is over 10 years old...

why is it suddenly on the charts?

cheers,
drew

Yeah - what happened was... Word got out that Chuck Norris was an MJ fan.

People started to buy for fear of being beaten by the Chuckster...

the best part of the article:

"In a bizarre detail, Jackson maintained he got his spending money by leasing cows that lived on his Neverland ranch."

:D

at any rate, i assumed that it was either financially motivated or just used as a ploy to get sympathy.

"they don't care about us" is very much a victim song.

i suspect that he's just fishing for sympathy.

i guess what i'm asking that, with all speculation aside, is there a documented reason for this release in britain?

just seems peculiar to me

we should have a pay-per-view hanging of michael jackson, with the proceeds going towards propelling neverland into space.
