generative ambient

Post by Robert Henke » Mon Jun 26, 2006 5:09 pm

.... cannot resist to post this here.

I made a follow action track as a sound source for testing some new
functions in Live. A collegue who heard it said i should record an hour
and put it online. So i did. Here is it:

http://www.monolake.de/audiofiles/gener ... 062006.mp3

I cannot put the set online since it has been creared with an interim
version of Live and it will not open with Live 5. It is nothing special.
Six tracks running operator plus reverb, a beat repeat, some filters.
The MIDI clips contain one single note and there are all triggered by
follow actions with different timing. The tracks look like this:
Clip > Random> Scale > Operator > EQ > Reverb and
two tracks Random > Chord > Scale > Operator > Reverb.
one send is Reverb > Beat Repeat

Have fun...

Robert

Hehe cool, I keep expecting Andreas Vollenweider to start playing the harp.

Try loading the mp3 first so it's playing in the background and then go here, http://www.vollenweider.com/magazine/main.php?c=en and wait for the music to play.

Perfect match :D

hee! cool. thank you.

so... this is how Live 6 first 'appears' ... not with a bang, but with a 26 minute download :-) can't wait to hear it. The "Random > Chord > Scale >" trio is always cool.

.. listening, having a rainy day here in Maryland, it's basically... perfect for that...
UTENZIL a tool... of the muse.
