According to M-Audio, development costs and price point issues have pulled the plug on it.

Which is a damn shame, I was looking so forward to owning one...

Post by mimesis » Sun Aug 17, 2003 8:17 am

WOW. Wasn't the kind of response I was expecting...... I am looking for a midi-controller that is flat - like a sheet of plastic-- someone told me there was one out there..... then I saw this M-Audio thing..... anything out there like that?
Thanks in advance.....

I fancied one of those Surface One controllers too - spoke to M-Audio here in the UK and it looks like it's definitely not coming out. I reckon at the moment the next best thing for roughly the same money is the Evolution one that's on the Ableton home page at the moment.

I'll tell you what, that Kenton "control freak" is supposed to be OK aswell.

Regards,
