Gosh from Slayer ("reign in blood"....fanfuckingtastic album......I still remember the lyrics to Jesus saves 20 years later after covering it in a band) to Miles Davis and bob Dylan blood on the tracks, peter Gabriel, pink floyd, stones, and many others.......I love everybody's taste of music, I have and enjoy all of these albums.

I can never do an "all time top 5 / 10 / 20 etc." because it changes all the time. I keep coming back to 'The Drift' by Scott Walker at the moment, plus the Fuck Buttons album. Oh, and Amon Tobin's 'Foley Room'.
Anything by Beefheart, Autechre, Boards of Canada, The Gasman, The Fall, Mars Volta, Renaldo and the Loaf, The Residents or Cardiacs gets heavy rotation round here too.

Re: The Best Album Ever.
It would be really interesting to compile a 'top 10' of all the albums suggested in this thread, but I haven't got time
