vokator help with live 5

1.
i have a recorded vocal track(audio, about 5 mins)
i want to play it back with a midi clip(about 5 mins) i have through the vokator.

how do i route so that the vocal audio(modulator) receives the midi track so i can then bounce the vocal again with the added vokator effect.

I have tried and tried to figure out how to do this. its killing me.

AU or VST?
it seems vokator is not usable as an audio track in its AU form?

import your vocal track into the file player?

i can get the voc audio into file player , but how do i route the midi file into the vokator plug and then back out into live with the new vocoded vocal audio.
