Cried

Then thought "Cool I got all the time to make tunes now!"

Went and made some very dark music.
Locked myself away.

Looked at some porn.
Got sad for a while.

That was almost 5 months ago.
Still getting on my feet really. (We were together 4 years)
But things are moving...
Think you only really get over the last till once you meet the next.

cried
did cocaine
2 weeks apathy
woke up
ditched cocaine (once for all, can't even go near it anymore now, phew)
took my energy back
made music
changed city

that was 1.5 years ago.
since then no more "I love you for the rest of my life" relationships = pretty much one night stands = more time/energy for music

I was pretty rattled

It was quite a soap opera, looking at it from several years remove.
She was my heart's desire, and we went through 10 years of other relationships before she became available. Then I swooped in like a hawk (or possibly vulture) and married her.
I had a couple at that time who were close friends. When they first met her, the husband became infatuated with her and patiently waited. He was a very excellent and successful new age composer, and was the guy who showed me how I could make music using computers and sound modules. I got so obsessed with this my marriage started to suffer. Then HE swooped in, left his girlfriend, and got my wife. She divorced me, and married him.
And so that brings my story up to 1995. As far as I know they are still married, and most of his records are still in print and apparently selling well.

Went for a long run, realized things happen in life for a reason and promptly forgot about her. Threw myself even more into music, and that led me to meeting my wife :)

since it happened for me VERY recently, i am still crying, drinking a little bit more than i should, trying to make tunes but everything just comes out all wrong.

i don't like cheaters. :(

happened a month ago and then this week i find out that she is moving 2.5 hours away to live with the girl she cheated on me with.

well, at least ableton is getting more of a workout than usual.
